Palace Of The Inquisition

During the Colonial era, this house served as a "court" tribune to condemn anyone whom the Church saw as an enemy. Instruments of torture, along with documents, explanations and paintings about the Inquisition.

Finished around 1770, it currently serves as a museum showcasing the torture equipment used, as well as other historical artifacts. It has been described as "one of the finer buildings" in Cartagena.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, de 9:00am a 6:00pm - holidays and sundays, de 10:00am a 06:00pm
